Evan had his 13 month birthday on Thursday, so to celebrate his Mima and Pipo invited him to Disney World for the day on Friday. We didn't get there till noon, but Evan was a trooper and stayed till closing. Wow, what a wonderful time he had. First he rode "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh", and he laughed the entire ride where he sat in the front seat with Mima and Mami. He then went on to ride "It's a Small World", "Dumbo the Flying Elephant", the carousel, and he watched the "Country Bear Jamboree", and a parade. He even got his picture taken with Donald Duck in Frontierland. We were all waiting on pins and needles to see if he'd cry at the Disney characters, but of course he didn't cry at all. He was so happy and excited to see them all in real life, especially Tigger! All of this on one nap which he took for an hour in his stroller. In the end Mami and Papi bought Evan his very first set of mouse ears with his name inscribed on the back.
So, Disney was a fabulous experience with Evan. We made it through the entire day without crying or fussing!
