We are trying to be very minimal in our Christmas decorating this year since we have the house for sale, and we really should be packing stuff up instead of pulling stuff out to decorate. We've been in need of a new tree for a long time, and we've been using the one that I've had since high school at least. Needless to say, it's looking a bit ragged.
Matt got a deal at Home Depot on this 7 1/2 ft. artifical tree. It's just beautiful, and he got it for 50% off the price! It was meant to be. When Matt returned to Home Depot to get Wendy and Mark one, he was told that they were regular price, so poor Wendy and Mark are still without a tree for Aidan.
These are our stockings which hang near the front door since we don't have a mantle.

The tree looks very nice. You guys did a great job. Hopefully Mark and Wendy get a tree for Aiden this year. We've made it a Koagel tradition to go for a real tree every year. We were surprised we could find a "nice" tree here in El Paso since there aren't any trees to be seen here...only Cactus plants! We hope you have a wonderful Christmas.
